Things are coming to an end. In le Tour, Nibali has a 7 minute lead. This is ridiculous and, baring the worst luck, likely insurmountable by any rider left in the race.
However, we aren't professional cyclists so the next three days continue to be important. There are tight races throughout our crew of fantasy cyclists this year. Notably the race for third is hotly contested amongst four teams.
The top spot of the podium is not quite a done deal either. Faire le Pont - Jeff Cook-Lundgren currently has over 600 points to make up on Flo Ridas - Lizzy Sander. Jeff has five riders in the top 30 riders that will score points compared to Lizzy's two. Lizzy has the edge in the upcoming stages, but Jeff's edge in the final placings will make the race for the top quite interesting.
One race that seems to be in the bag is Lanterne Rouge. Bethany's Pedal Pushers are dropping like flies as she moves toward the finish with only four riders remaining.
