The podium:
1 - Little red riding hood - Ryan Buus - 6267
King of consistency - Ryan was able to keep his team near the top for three full weeks. The average placement of 3.27 on each stage was the best of all competitors and paid in the end.
2 - Moto Man - Justin Rath - 5936
Late mover - Winning final three stages and most importantly placing four riders in the top 10 in the overall competition is the way Justin Rath competes. Sometimes it works and others it doesn't. This tour it came up just a few hundred points short.
3 - Los Renacuajos - Charlie Sawyer - 5710
Steady eddy - Charlie was near the top through it all, but was just missing the finishing touches to get to the top. He did stay on the podium to the end.
Lanterne Rouge - The Blazing Saddles managed by Geoff Crandon have the most room to improve. I would have to look back into the archives, but if memory serves about every person on this list has been the Lanterne Rouge at least once. Some have won the next tour. Geoff it was great having you play. You are welcome back anytime.

This race has been awesome! Multiple riders are showing good form through the first two weeks of racing which means the final 1/3 of the race should be exciting! The Spanish armada is leading the way, but others are looking to upset the fleet of riders.

CONGRATULATIONS to Flo Ridas - Lizzy Sander!
Lizzy has stood the test of time and held the lead from start to finish. She managed to keep a slight 255 point lead over Faire le Pont - Jeff Cook-Lundgren. Faire le Pont was the most dominant team regarding overall placements by picking five riders who finished in the top 30 overall. Flo Ridas podium run (all but two stages) has been the most consistent in recent memory in the Wrath of le Tour competition.
Le Tour is complete and now it is time to look to the future. Redemption for your fantasy cyclist season can be found quickly as the Vuelta a España starts in just under four weeks on 8/23. More details will come when start lists are finalized!
